Many are the times when I have read in Christian literature, and in articles on the Internet, something to do with the Mark of the Beast. Always the emphasis is on the way in which modern electronic technology is veering towards the literal marking of a hand or a forehead with an invisible code. This code could then be read by a scanning device, similar to that which is used today to read bar codes. The value of this system would then be seen in terms of security. Nobody could copy or steal your “card” and therefore your banking account would be safe. Such is the thinking behind the proposition to use such flesh markings. [Read more…]
