As this will be a physics/chemistry lesson, I shall try to make it as simple as possible for those who have not had grounding in the sciences. Everyone knows that water is H2O, and that the symbol stands for 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 part Oxygen. That is a good starting point. [Read more…]

89. Water, Part 1
Water is the most abundant liquid on Planet Earth. It occurs in all three forms of Vapour, Water, and Ice. The oceans cover 71% of the Earth’s surface and contain 328 million cubic miles of water. In addition there are 120,000 cubic miles of fresh water, and 5.5 million cubic miles of ice, which if all should melt would raise the sea level by about 150 feet. There is also a lot of water in the atmosphere, and if all were deposited on the earth, it would be equivalent to a global layer of one inch depth , in other words the equivalent of 3,000 cubic miles of water. 88. The Four Gospels
Having completed my series on “The Sign of Four”, we shall now consider the Four Gospels in a different arrangement, one that has been understood through many years, and which is of vital importance in understanding why we have four separate accounts of our Lord’s life on earth. [Read more…]
87. The Sign of Four – Summary
Putting it all together we have the following –

86. The Sign of Four, Part 4 – Forces
Here again are the four letters of the Divine Name in their reverse order.

Strong | Electromagnetic | Weak | Gravity |
Physicists have recognised the presence of just FOUR basic forces of nature, as named above. [Read more…]
85. The Sign of Four, Part 3 – Time
Here once again is the Divine Name presented backwards, as before.
H | V | H | Y |
Year | Month | Day | Hour |
84. The Sign of Four, Part 2 – The Cherubim
Here is the Divine Name once again, presented backwards, as in the last PT.
H | V | H | Y |
LION | OX | EAGLE | MAN |
83. The Sign of Four, Part 1 – Covenants
“The Sign of Four” has nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes’ adventure of that title. Rather does it relate to my previous PT79, “The Name”. We saw that the name contained hidden numerical information about the Trinity, and man’s place in God’s heart. We shall now see that this grouping of four items is reflected in a number of other important settings in the Bible and in Science. It is as though God’s Holy Name is the Key to far more than we had ever imagined or contemplated. In this series of 4 I’ll take one group at a time. Our first examination refers to the Four Covenants God made with mankind. [Read more…]
82. Amen
The Book of Psalms is essentially five books in one, each corresponding to one of the five books of the Pentateuch (Gen, Ex, Lev, Num, Deut.) The first three of these Books of Psalms ends with the statement “Amen and Amen!” (41:13, 72:19, 89:52). Throughout the OT the word Amen is used to add one’s enthusiastic response to what has previously been said. It is a retrospective word, just as today we might comment on what we have just heard by saying “Amen to that!”. When used in the double form “Amen and Amen!” it registers a most solemn emphasis to invoke fulfilment. [Read more…]
81. “I hear His voice of cheer”
I serve a risen Saviour, He’s in the world today;
I know that He is living, whatever men may say;
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him He’s always near.He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart.
These words were written by Rev. Alfred H. Ackley, 1887 – 1960. [Read more…]
