We sent out No. 23 in the hope that we might receive information from our readers concerning the strange plethora of events currently being observed in the Unites States. We were hoping for some answers, together with evidence that such things might be happening in our own country (the U.K.) However, the response has been minimal, though we should like to thank the few who spent time replying, and proffering such thoughts and advice as seemed appropriate. Drawing on the contents of these emails, and adding our own appraisal, we have the following to say.
We have been receiving Kathleen Keating’s news bulletin for some time, and often she has something useful and interesting to say. However, we have often noticed that she comes from a strongly Catholic background, and isherself firmly entrenched in that movement. This always causes us to draw back and assess information before giving it any accolade of authenticity. The article we quoted from contained information that interested us, but we edited her article before sending it. We cut out the Catholic parts, such as mention of words like “scapula”, and the use of icons like St Benedict, and the burying of wooden crosses in the ground around our houses ostensibly to protect us from demonic influences. We knew that these parts of her article would cause many readers to turn away in disgust and consign the whole article to the trash bin. We wanted the information she had gathered to be considered apart from and distinct from the religious setting. We ourselves have a strong aversion to the whole Catholic organisation, and the way in which it influences people’s thought processes, thereby with subtlety to render the exercise of true faith unproductive. This may cause offence to Catholics, and even to those who adopt a conciliatory attitude towards the Catholic movement, but we nevertheless cannot hide our understanding, built up over many years of active Christian belief, wholly outside denominational structures.
In respect of the peculiar happenings now current in the USA we have no way of making an assessment. One (American) correspondent laid the blame firmly on the present way of life of American people, where (she says) “godliness has given way to greed”. I wrote back saying that I was sure the same trend is currently operating in theU.K. as well, but that as far as I know the demonic activities are not causing news headlines. Another correspondent assured me that these oddities have been observed for the last 25 years. Several warnings were received based on the Catholic source. Let me say that the latest issue of “Keating perspective” contained such up-front Catholicism that we could not stomach it any longer, and have now unsubscribed to this source.
Way back in 1972 I saw a vision of a man in armour on horseback charging a centurion tank. The soldiers were looking out of the turret in an amused fashion as he approached. Eventually his lance struck the tank, broke, and the impact caused the man to fall off his horse and lay spread-eagled on the ground. The Lord’s comment was that we should be aware of the need to consider Satan’s modern methods of warfare, and not imagine that he has made no advances over the centuries. But our heavenly provisions for such warfare have also been upgraded. We have only to ask.
In 1987 the Lord conveyed to me that Satan was manufacturing masses of a new type of electronic demon that flies on electromagnetic waves, influencing those who watch television, for example. Since that time we have never watched television, and have been glad to be free of the pernicious influence, which (we are told) is now full of violence, sex, and juvenility.
