Christmas 2016
Once again we enter the festive season,
A time beloved by children everywhere.
As they open their presents,
Let us not forget God the Father’s great Gift of His Son,
Sent to the earth to live, to teach, to heal, and to die,
But to rise again by the mighty power of God,
To become our Saviour and Lord of all Creation.
And as we rejoice in His birth,
May His coming again become our holy expectancy.
This is my wish for all my readers
This Christmas time.
God bless you all.
On a more light-hearted approach,
The attached picture will bring a smile.
It is by the famous comic artist William Heath Robinson (1872 – 1944)
Whose name has ever since been
Associated with “Heath-Robinson contraptions”.
I met his son Thomas, and wife Margaret, briefly in 1968.
Their son, Adrian was in my 6th form physics group
And I had the privilege of leading him to the Lord in that year.
Picture shows how Christmas crackers are made !!!
