The Witch’s Hat Vision
The earth was seen, rotating in space, and over it came a pointed hat, like a witch’s hat. It was white but had a black rim. According to the interpretation given later, the hat represented the satanic pall of darkness, not physical, but spiritual, which progressively covered the earth. This pall prevented mankind from seeing and understanding truth. At this stage, the earth was seen to be rotating, but this was not to be understood in an astronomical sense.
